The Ideal Learning Experience

Driving or towing an RV is not as difficult as many people think and well-known RV driving school owner and instructor, Dennis Hill, will be on hand to help RVers hone their skills. "Each year more and more people are turning to RVing for vacations," explains Hill. "They see their friends enjoying the RV life and want to do it too, but they are slightly intimidated. That's where I come in. I teach them how to drive safely and with confidence. It's really not as difficult as people imagine, and after one of my seminars, most people are much more sure of themselves. In actuality, experienced automobile drivers already possess all the necessary skills."

Plan to attend the “Yes You Can Drive an RV” Seminar. All presentations are included in the price of admission. The Seminar tent is located on the main aisle. Come in, relax, rest and listen to the RV experts share their valuable information.

Hill reminds people that today's RVs come equipped with automatic transmissions, power brakes and power steering. With proper attention to the difference in vehicle size, height and weight, new owners find it fun and easy to take the wheel of a conversion vehicle or motorhome.

“I'm scared to death of driving an RV!”

The statement says much about people who would like to travel in their own recreational vehicle. But, they miss out because they think they can't handle an RV. Now, there's a school that helps develop the skills needed to drive an RV with confidence - and have fun at the same time.

"More and more people are traveling in motor homes and trailers. Still others are thinking about renting or buying an RV for their summer vacations," says RV Driving School owner Dennis Hill. "But sometimes people are a little too scared to use their RVs fully."

The seminar will discuss driving confidence and many of the skills that drivers need: characteristics of different units, driving techniques, cornering, driving up and down mountain roads, backing, and defensive and courteous driving.

Dennis has been driving RVs for years. As a wagon master for a camping group, he helped many members learn to use their RVs.

"Why the school? There was a big need in the industry for an RV driving school. Dick Reed, who founded the school, would hear people in RV parks and campgrounds say they wished they could learn how to drive their RVs better, especially how to back up. I’m proud to carry on Dick Reed’s traditions as the new owner of RV Driving School."

"We teach confidence," Dennis says. "We specialize in training any licensed driver to pull their fifth wheel or drive a motor home. We personalize the training. People may use their own RV or ours. I teach them how to drive safely." top
